Just in case you hadn't noticed, men and women are different! That becomes clear in the pilates room of our San Diego studio. Men in general are less flexible, have a thicker back, and are more bulky. They tend to be tight, especially through hips, spine, hamstrings, pecs, upper traps. They tend to have a forward head posture more than women.
Ta-DA! Enter Pilates! In each of our customized pilates reformer classes, we focus on all of this! Men constantly comment how stretched out they feel as a result of this coaching.
Knowing the male propensity for loving killer strength training, we also offer a portion of the class on our TRX equipment. Be warned tho, we choose the TRX exercises great for your corestrength, but also flexibility. Hmmm..can't be that bad, can it? Come on in, guys!
