Researchers in Sri Lanka say they have a method of cooking rice which cuts the calories in half. Part of rice's content is not digestible. By adding one teaspoon of coconut oil to the water used to cook the rice, the amount of non-digestible content in the rice increases to 10 times the original amount. There is more to the procedure, but this could be a way to fight obesity.
